About Lakeridge South

LakeRidge South is built upon the foundation of the original LakeRidge development.  Started in December, 1977, LakeRidge now encompasses 625 acres and includes over 1,200 homes, an 18-hole golf course, eight tennis courts and a junior size Olympic swimming pool.

LakeRidge established itself in Lubbock by setting many firsts.  Among its watermarks, LakeRidge was the first planned golf course community home and the first subdivision to have paved alleys with rear entry access.  LakeRidge essentially created the identity of Southwest Lubbock.  Today, many businesses use the LakeRidge name as the area’s main point of recognition.  LakeRidge South continues this tradition with a fresh look to match today’s lifestyles.

Started in late 2002, LakeRidge South is a community where people still call their neighbors friends, and there is no such thing as a stranger.  The distinctive and personal homes have an impressive style that is timeless yet modern.

Within the 125 acres of LakeRidge South, there are 246 platted lots, with an additional 80-90 lots still to be developed into residential and garden homes.  Over 200 homes have been built to date.  Each perfectly sized lot is tucked away inside the neighborhood, making it a safe and quiet environment for you to enjoy.

Located south of 98th Street, between Topeka and Quaker Avenues, LakeRidge South is nestled in the midst of the fastest growing area of Lubbock.  It is right around the corner from excellent schools, numerous churches, prime shopping and all of your favorite restaurants.  You can get anywhere you want within minutes.

LakeRidge South is a growing and friendly community.  It is a quality neighborhood that continues to welcome wonderful new families.  It is a place where you belong.  It is a place to call home.
